I put the phone in a drawer for a day .
So to put myself far away
To be lone ,.
But not alone
Little tappings from the heavens came
not like rain nor sun ray
But timeless texts from Friends of yesterday
I thought I traveled far away
A very sacred secret stay
Only I lone
but not alone
i took Good Book and books of old
And journeyed sitting from the cold
Beyond to the place where a day
is a thousand years
and a thousand years a day
And surfed upon the deepest oceans
Away from hatred and commotion
Until the Son and saints did hurl
Me unto a more grounded world
And now with greater gift than phone , I return
Though the mysterious place I forever yearn
But now ancient friends sit in my soul’s pocket ,
And my heart sits in Christs as in a locket,
And I will never forget what I was shone
That never never never
Am I ever alone

“But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
