BLADES
Lil brother blade of grass
We grow side by side.
But you oh blade stay rooted and rested .
And i oh blade , stray , roam and resist.
How can it be God made us both .
I look at you and I envy your obedience.
You are too busy growing obediently to notice me.
Even when i come and crush you underfoot ,
you bounce up ward to the light of the Son.
The saints were like blades of grass mowed and martyred
and ,when I look to be like you ,I am yet a saint being made.
