I worked so hard to wash this cup
This vessel The Father might use
I worked to make it right and clean
Readying it to go receive and glean
Full , I wrote and rote all your Word
So my lips might pour out all I heard
And all my doing might put me in places
Where I might see all their turning faces
But Woe to me when you came in the room
Your Light has shattered all that I presume
And you have broken me down from heart to knee
Till I see nothing clean but you IN Me.
1.Matthew 23:25 “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.”
2, Collosians 1:26-27 the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints. To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
