WHEN I THINK ON THESE THINGS. . . . . .

A poem for Jesus from the children of God . . . .

 

When I think on these things ,

I see you are most TRUE!

When Song and Dance Enter THE BRIDE, each Sunday, ANEW

And Praising Hands Lift HER many Troubles to Troubles that flew

And YOUR BRIDE arises tall from pew to pew.

WHEN I THINK ON THESE THINGS, I THINK OF WHAT IS TRUE!

When I think on these things,

I SEE YOU ARE SO HONEST

when Your Word and Your Voice crush every sin among us

And LOVE binds tightly to encourage hearts towards fondness

And YOUR BRIDE grows big with your created ONENESS

WHEN I THINK ON THESE THINGS , I THINK OF WHAT IS HONEST

When I think on these things

I SEE YOU ARE ALWAYS JUST

When Prayers prayed rightly cast out pride and fear and lust

And anointing oils keep eternal flow dissolving deadly rust

And your BRIDE stands strong in  your Boldness and Trust

WHEN I THINK ON THESE THINGS, I THINK OF WHAT IS JUST

When I think on these things

I SEE YOU AS PERFECTLY PURE

When children hear Jesus and look certain and sure

And the” least of these” reminds each heart of what LOVE will cure

And the Bride lies down to a Faith that will forever endure

WHEN I THINK ON THESE THINGS , I THINK OF WHAT IS PURE

WHATEVER WE THINK ON TOGETHER SEEMS MOST LOVELY,

LIKE THE RADIANCE OF YOUR FACE on THE DAY YOU FIRST SAW ME

WHATEVER WE THINK ON SEEMS MOST ADMIRABLE

LIKE THE CROWN ON YOUR HEAD THE DAY YOU FIRST DIED FOR ME

WHATEVER WE THINK ON TOGETHER SEEMS MOST EXCELLENT

LIKE THE GRIP OF YOUR HAND TODAY AS YOU LEAD ME

WHEN I THINK ON THESE THINGS.

I WANT TO THINK ON  THESE THINGS

WITH YOU

ALL THE MORE!!

HAVE THIS MIND AMONG YOURSELVES, WHICH IS YOURS IN CHRIST JESUS
